Audi Unveils AUDI E Concept: A Glimpse into the Future of Electric Mobility in China

An important milestone in Audi’s electric vehicle (EV) strategy for the Chinese market was reached at Auto Shanghai 2025 when the company unveiled the AUDI E concept. With this introduction, Audi’s new sub-brand, “AUDI,” which was created in partnership with SAIC Motor, also made its debut. The AUDI brand has a minimalist “AUDI” wordmark instead of the conventional four-ring logo, which reflects a new identity targeted at tech-savvy Chinese consumers.

With dimensions of 4,870 mm in length, 1,990 mm in width, 1,460 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,950 mm, the Audi E concept is a sporty electric sportback. Its design, which was especially created to appeal to Chinese consumers, seamlessly combines Audi’s iconic aesthetics with contemporary electric flair.

The car’s dual-motor configuration under the hood produces 570 kW of power and 800 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. It has a range of more than 700 km when fully charged thanks to its 100 kWh battery. Up to 370 kilometres of range can be achieved in just 10 minutes thanks to the 800-volt architecture’s quick charging capabilities.

The interior features sustainable materials, a simple design, and an AI-powered virtual assistant that can be operated by voice or touch.

With Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295 chip and SAIC Motor’s most recent Galaxy Full Stack 3.0 E/E architecture, the car boasts cutting-edge connectivity and intelligent driving features.

In the first half of 2025, the AUDI E concept is anticipated to go into mass production, with deliveries scheduled for late August or early September. Audi’s dedication to innovation and strategic focus on the quickly changing Chinese EV market are demonstrated by this launch.
